The Nutrition Welfare Fund Committees and their teams specified standards for food prices at the university to help students and staff buy sufficient and inexpensive food. There is also a cook-to-order restaurant on campus that serves vegan and vegetarian meals.

Ubon Ratchathani University provides hygienic, diverse, and healthy food options. The Property and Benefits Management Office conducts food quality assessments, including inspections of food hygiene, food service facilities, food storage areas, used cooking oil, and checks for contaminants in food ingredients. The results of these inspections meet the standards set by the Ministry of Public Health, and no contaminants were found in the food ingredients.
The university also regulates food prices to ensure they are reasonable, setting food prices as a welfare benefit for students and staff. The prices have remained unchanged for over 9 years (since 2012).
